Mohave Community College
Mohave Community College supports workforce development in Mohave
County and surrounding communities by providing higher education
opportunities for those entering the workforce, a Small Business
Development Center, employee and management training for businesses
and industry-specific technical instruction. Through MCCs
academic transfer program, students can complete two or three
years of a bachelors degree at MCC and transfer either online
or physically to a four-year institution, saving up to $19,000
in tuition alone. MCCs Career/Technical certificates and
degrees prepare individuals for careers in health services, industrial
trades, computer science, business and more.

Western Arizona Economic Development District (WAEDD), Inc.
WAEDD is a voluntary creation of local governments within the
three counties on the western border of the State of Arizona.
The boundaries of the District are the boundaries of the geographic
area comprising La Paz, Mohave, and Yuma County in Arizona. WAEDD
is a not-for-profit corporation, in the State of Arizona. Governmental
entities which are eligible for participation in the District
and direct representation on the WAEDD Governing Board are those
incorporated Counties, Cities, Towns and federally recognized
Tribes which are located wholly or partly within the District
Boundaries. Participating governments pay annual dues to WAEDD,
which support the operating expenses of the organization.

The Mohave Community College Small Business Development Center
is a cooperative program between the Small Business Administration,
the AZSBDC Network and Mohave Community College. The MCC-SBDC
offers no cost business counseling for pre-venture and existing
businesses over a full range of business concerns including planning,
marketing, management and financing. Additionally, the MCC-SBDC
offers no cost or low cost training events by working with other

Western Arizona Vocational Education District #50 is a Joint Technical
Education District including five high schools: Lake Havasu, Kingman,
Parker, River Valley and Mohave all participate. We were formed
by a public vote and began in July of 2009. The Western Arizona
Vocational Education District, collaborating with business and
community, provides students academic, career and technical preparation
for a global, competitive marketplace. We offer the opportunity
for students to participate in career and technical education
courses. Courses are intended to provide industry based certificates
of completion and/or community college credits in preparation
for immediate employment upon graduation or continuation in a
