In 1985, Laughlin was home to just 95 people. By 1991, Laughlin's
population had mushroomed to more than 5,000 residents. The Laughlin
housing mix is approximately 26% single-family homes, 51% condos
and townhouses, 23% apartments, and .4% mobile homes. As of 2,000
the population has grown to nearly 8,000 people.
