Nearly 98% of our 5 million annual visitors arrive in Laughlin by automobile, bus or RV. Group Sales departments at the Laughlin resorts schedule bus services for individuals and groups from almost every major market in a 300-mile radius. For those who prefer other means of transportation, several options are available.

Laughlin/Bullhead City Airport - The $30 million Laughlin/Bullhead City International Airport is located in Arizona just minutes from the Laughlin casinos. A 10,500-square-foot terminal houses ticket counters, a baggage claim area, air charter operations, car rental agencies, a lounge and a conference room. The 7,500- foot-by-150 foot runway is capable of accommodating Boeing 737, DC-10's and MD-80's. For nearly a decade, local leaders have dedicated time to negotiating joint ventures and reviewing dozens of contracts. Currently, two services offer air transportation into the Laughlin region:

• Sun Country Airlines: Call (800) FLY-N-SUN or visit the website at www.suncountry.com for information or reservations. Scheduled air service to Minneapolis/St. Paul and various cities in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain states is offered year-round on Sun Country. Hotel and golf packages are available from the Midwest to Laughlin hotels and casinos.

The Mohave County Airport Authority continues to work diligently with hotel operators and airline companies to continue to strengthen existing services and investigate other options for air service from major feeder markets to Laughlin.

McCarran Airport, Las Vegas - Very convenient for most of our air travelers is McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. Hundreds of thousands of Laughlin visitors take direct flights to Las Vegas and rent a car for the 90 minute drive to Laughlin. Many opt to use shuttle companies that provide door to door service from McCarran Airport to your favorite Laughlin Hotel.

Three local companies provide shuttle service from Las Vegas to Laughlin and other cities in the Colorado River Valley region. Call for pick-up times and locations. Reservations are required.

By Train

Amtrak service is offered from hundreds of U.S. cities to the Needles, California, depot just 25 miles south of Laughlin. Independent shuttle services provide transportation to Laughlin hotels. Call Amtrak at 800-USA-RAIL.

On Foot

One of the best things about our community is that all of the hotels are within close proximity to each other. You can walk safely from one end of Casino Drive to the other within an hour. Nearly three-quarters of the hotels are connected on the Colorado River Walk, a pleasant public walk way along the riverfront that curls in and out of hotel properties.

River Taxis

One of the regions most popular attractions, water taxis shuttle Laughlin visitors from resort to resort along the Colorado River. Tickets and information can be obtained at each resort dock area or by calling Desert Recreation at 928-754-2684.

Local Bus

Silver Rider offers Laughlin visitors and residents transportation around the community and connecting service to the Bullhead City bus system. The service, from the Southern Nevada Transit Coalition, runs 24 hours a day on Casino Drive. For information, call 702-298-4435.
